This is a tweet that actually took my breath away

I'll never forgive George Bush for what he did to this country, but I do believe that beneath that greed, incompetence and layers of 'daddy' issues, there just might beat something that resembles a human heart.

Can't find the original quote, and it's worded better than this:

Bush was inept but not cruel.
Nixon was cruel but not inept.

Trump is inept and cruel.

There is, ultimately, no getting past the nightmares inflicted by the Nixon and Bush administrations, but Trump is an uprecedented horror with no end clearly in sight.

I suspect most of us thought that could never happen. I confess I never thought that.

Some scary food for thought........things can actually get worse. As crazy as it sounds now, it's possible that in 4 years, or 8 years, or 12 years...we'll have a President that's so bad, that we'll look back fondly on Trump. I know it's an ugly thing, but it's sure as hell possible.
