doing a lot tapdancing in betweens bouts of amnesia and pitiful episodes of dementia.

and I think he is out for blood.
Franken is the one who tripped up the Nazi Elf during his confirmation hearing and caused his recusal from the TrumpRussia investigation.
Cheeto is still seething over that! Sessions was supposed to be his 'get out of jail free' card on the Russia investigation.

It also includes a timeline of his accounts of meetings with Kislyak.
AG Sessions Shifting and False Statements to Congress on Russia
Attorney General Jeff Sessions will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday for an oversight hearing. This is the first time Sessions will come before the Senate since news outlets reported that his discussions with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential election included campaign-related issueswhich, if true, would contradict what Sessions has previously told the Senate.
Important to watch: The most recent Sessions spokesperson statement in response to those news stories does not specifically deny the accuracy of those reports (see below).
Whats at stake: Lying to Congress is a felony, and special counsel Robert Mueller may have jurisdiction here since these statements materially relate to the investigation of Trump campaign relationships with Russia. There is also a delicate political balance here, since what is also at stake is Sessions continued survival in his position, with the president perhaps looking for a way to push him out the door.
