Good news: 'Trump's unpopularity has been massively underplayed in the media'

"SNIP..........

Trump is not only dead last in net approval ratings, he's managed to do it at a time of relative peace and prosperity—the two factors that tend to serve as a drag on a president's approval.

To get this unpopular, this fast, and to do it in an era of relatively good times, is just breathtaking. [...] I've seen people claim he's winning his fight against the NFL, for example, but the numbers certainly don't suggest that's the case. [...] In fact, Harry Enten at FiveThirtyEight estimates that Trump's net approval is a whopping 30 percentage points below where the economy suggests it should be. [...]

And yes, I think as a whole Trump's unpopularity has been massively underplayed in the media throughout his administration so far.

Now isn't that refreshing.

My phone machine's outgoing message is, " This is ***-**** please leave a message unless you're a Republican, than please run along" and I have always screened my call for 35 years. I received a call regarding an appointment from my dog Spike's groomer who I have had for 14 years and is a really wonderful person and has always done kind things for me when I was a teacher and when I told her last year when I received a very bad diagnosis from my doctor that my future is very bleak, etc. Well, I also found out last year that besides being a devout Christian she is also pro 45. Since I always wear my home made "lock him up" earrings and pins I am wary when I go to her shop since I do not want to offend someone who is truly sweet and kind. Today she called to confirm a dog grooming appointment she left a message and said, " I LOVE your message!". I was so surprised. I also got the same phone message/response from a neighbor two days ago who I know is a Dem but her sister is a heavy duty tRump supporter. Her sister is taking care of her now and was there when she called...I am hoping her sister also has woken up and faced reality too. Are Right Wingers finally waking up to reality?

stolen for him have changed. You have they Steve Kornacki's of the world parroting the line well he had high unfavorable ratings before he was elected. Trump wasn't able to steal the electoral college just because trumptards liked him it was the let's give him a chance swing voter crowd that put him of the top. Now he has had his chance and many of them don't like what they see. If the election were today he would lose in a landslide unless there was blatant cheating involved.

Logic says it should be still massively lower, but we're getting into the mindlessly loyal republicans here....

Beat the living shit out of Trump--rhetorically, of course. All you have to do is tell the unflattering truth about him, presenting it in the most unfavorable light possible, and your ratings will go through the roof.

It sounds like he's doing an okay job with that phrasing.
