Missing in discussion of Sgt. Johnson phone call is fact that he died because he was *LEFT BEHIND*.

Missing in the discussion of the horrendous Sgt. Johnson phone call is the fact that he died because he was *LEFT BEHIND*.

Johnson was fighting alongside Green Berets when he died. The group, which included a Nigerien patrol, didn't have U.S. overhead armed air cover when Islamic militants ambushed them Oct. 4 near the Niger border with Mali.

Johnson was left behind when French forces' helicopters scrambled to evacuate the soldiers, and it took nearly two days for Nigerien forces to find his body in the desert of the landlocked nation, according to the U.S. Africa Command.

His "Bush Hog formation was made better because of Johnson's faithful service, and we are focused on caring for the Johnson family during this difficult period," Lt. Col. David Painter, commander of 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, said in a statement.

The U.S. military held a return of remains ceremony when Johnson's body arrived at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware Oct. 7, while President Donald Trump was playing golf with Sen. Lindsey Graham.

U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Miami Gardens, was at Miami International Airport when Johnson's body arrived Tuesday. She said she wanted to know why the chain of command failed to anticipate "even the possibility of an ambush" and equip Johnson to fight against militants affiliated with ISIS.

No such thing. If brought, suit would be thrown out on motion.

A suit could be brought, maybe, under the Federal Tort Claims Act, but since it happened outside of the US I bee sovereign immunity would apply.

The government simply wouldn't permit any lawsuit

Because he was too damn busy lapping up taxpayer-funded luxuries at a golden, gourmet golf course, playing with his frikken puny putter.

The same thing happened with the failed Syria mission trumps first week in WH. trump approved that failure!

Enemy knew they were coming hours in advance, yet the mission moved on and many died, seriously wounded-including our special forces military!

The current "commander in chief" is a FAILURE and should be removed/impeached on that basis alone!

IMO Trumps blabbing details on his phone calls, golf games- and/or many elected in our government are compromised by Russia.

IMO, Russia backs, funds and controls parts of IS-terrorists to attack Americans military.

His signal beacon was activated according to this report. Another report indicated that the military mandated a closed casket funeral

And in one of those 'when-things-go-really-wrong' the CIC insults the memory of this soldier to his sobbing widow.

A complete investigation into this fiasco needs to be conducted before it is all whitewashed

Two Ship crashes, Two majorly failed missions. The deaths of numerous men asleep in their bunks!! on both those ships, BOTH ground missions ambushed, many injured and dead.

And now to think our most elite, highly trained military would leave a man behind.

Heads have to roll now!-IMO, Russia/China are behind these Military failures, they fund these terrorists, our government is seriously compromised.

Republican party, OUR CONGRESS sits on their hands & fails the American people & OUR Military.

Hope that doesn't explain it though. The military is one of our least racist institutions for what that is worth.

Here is all that was said in the story about the circumstances:

"When enemy fighters attacked with rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns Oct. 4, Johnson and the others were in unarmored pickup trucks, according to a U.S. official who talked to CNN. After he was left behind, Johnson was able to activate his military beacon, but the U.S. military couldn't track him before the signal faded, according to a U.S. officials who talked to NBC News."
