It is another symptom of his personality defects. Without insight into how it feels to lose someone in such a tragic and heartbreaking way, he struggles to say the appropriate thing. He has even been recorded saying inappropriate things meeting world leaders and their spouses. He often seems at a loss for even the tiniest hint he understands a disaster, such as what the people of Puerto Rico experienced.

If he was not so stubborn and pig headed about it and arrogant enough to think he “knows it all”, he would get someone to craft a statement or a Cliff Notes version of what he should say. But we can forget about that because he will never admit to anyone that he is at a loss for the right words. The best words.
