Two families of U.S. soldiers who lost their lives overseas said they have not heard from President Trump in the wake of his recent claims that his predecessors did not reach out to families of slain soldiers, according to The Associated Press.
The AP reported that Sheila Murphy, whose son died in Syria in May, has yet to hear from the president, despite writing him some days I dont want to live."

speaking on behalf of the country, showing appreciation for the sacrifice of a military person's life on the country's behalf. But somehow, if my husband or son had been killed I don't think hearing from Trump would convey to me a sense of gratitude or appreciation, and it wouldn't make me feel even slightly better. He doesn't speak for the country, only for himself, and in a way that's startlingly insensitive. He poisons everything.

In particular the ones with the "Support the Troops" stickers on their bumpers.
