My rant on Trump's words of sympathy.
This is the one issue that I have a hard time with wondering why Trump even opens his mouth!
No words can describe the hurt for those families who lost a service member in our military or our ambassadors. Their duty to our country is no debt I could ever repay, but honoring them with a salute, kind words and prayers for them and their family, is what I can do. This goes for those who are in harm's way at this time, too.
We have a president who is willing to ruin this country. Not only by his actions, but by his words. He has never had to show sympathy for those who are hurting. He thinks he is above them and has no time for their pain. Not just with the military either. He only shows signs of sympathy when it comes to those who voted for him. If not, oh well, the hell with them. Previous presidents have had to deal with many tragic events. Each in their own ways, each were handled with dignity, sorrow and with class. Not Trump, he thinks he is still campaigning or is worried about playing his next round of golf.
Sadly, we have come to this situation by not our control, but we have to endure the pain of the embarrassment of his actions and words. I always felt that what goes around, will come around for the good or bad. I just wonder if Trump will ever understand the word sympathy. He wants us to feel sympathy for him when he is under attack by those who don't agree with him and his ideas. That is not the sympathy people need in tragic times.
One of the duties of being Commander in Chief, is dealing with the American public. Trump treats the American public like his employees. I wish no ill will to this man, but I don't know if this country can handle any more of his embarrassing ways.
