When * and his republican Congress enacted the last round of tax cuts,

there were never hearings to follow up to show that those tax cuts didn't grow the economy and that they were used to buy back corporations' stocks, put in offshore banks, paid stockholders' dividends, etc.

I know, I know. Republicans today would STILL vote for tax cuts, but there would be more public condemnation.
