22. We need to methodically point out the lies

I probably have more rightwing family members and friends than most people here. Not intentional but that's the way it evolved. In speaking to them about this administration they immediately reject blanket name calling about Trump and all his lies. I have tried many tactics. But when you slow it down and provide examples in matter of fact fashion, their expression changes and so does their tone and level of acceptance. Not every time, but a satisfying percentage.

Let's face it, Trump is always going to win the outrage game. We have to be patient and slowly pick him apart. There can be some incredibly effective commercials along these lines but I haven't seen any evidence we can pull that off.
