Trumps cruelty blamed on NY: Hes from the streets of Queens. Americans knew what they were getting

Another gem from former Congressman Jack Kingston (R - Moronistan):

https://www.rawstory.com/2017/10/republican-blames-trumps-cruelty-on-nyc-hes-from-the-streets-of-queens-americans-knew-what-they-were-getting/

Former Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA) excused President Donald Trump’s attacks on a pregnant widow on CNN’s “Out Front” with Erin Burnett.

“That is casual cruelty, would you not acknowledge, congressman?” Burnett asked Kingston.

Well, I think Americans knew Donald Trump and they knew who they elected and he’s a guy from the streets of Queens if you will,” the former congressman suggested.

-snip-

“Congressman, are you saying yes, he’s casually cruel, but we knew what we were getting? Is that your argument?” Burnett asked.

Former Rep. Kingston returned again to Trump being from the street when responding.

“He’s a tough guy and if you him or push him, he’s going to push back,” Kingston claimed.

Jesus Christ. He’s a millionaire’s son with any number of psychological problems and issues—none of which came from the street. He wouldn’t have survived the street in Seattle much less New York

They're always spinning excuses for a simpleminded, assholish thug.

And they always try to denigrate something associated with liberalism in the process.

It shouldn't be forgotten that Scarborough tried to distance Trump from the GOP by pointing out his former Democratic status.

It is pretty much uniformly working class or poor, maybe a few affluent pockets but hardly wealthy.

And he was sent to a private military school because his parents couldn't stand the little piece of shit and needed to pawn him off on an institution that could whip him into shape. It was hardly the elite boarding school that most wealthy New Yorkers send their children to.

It was a cloistered, secluded enclave (even more so when Trump was growing up) populated by very wealthy, almost exclusively white people. Here is their family home:

And he went to a private boarding school located in Cornwall-on-Hudson.

He did not grow up in the manner described by Jack Kingston.

He grew up in a wealthy and segregated environment.

therefore he will never be accepted by the NYC elite. He may have gone to an expensive military academy, but it's not like he went to Exeter, Andover or St. Paul's. Even though he's rich, he's still white trash as far as the establishment wealthy are concerned.

My point is that he did not "grow up on the streets" as Jack Kingston implied. He grew up in a wealthy, essentially segregated, private enclave in Jamaica Estates and went to a private boarding school.

Your point about him being outside of the NYC elite, not growing up in Manhattan, not going to one those high profile private schools, not being accepted by the establishment wealthy, is also something I agree with.

The vast majority of us were recoiled with horror by him. His crassness, his lack of empathy, crudeness, mean spiritedness. His lack of curiosity that has kept him fat, lazy and dumb was duly noted. On election night many of us were waiting for the nightmare to end once the votes were counted. Instead we got a swift kick in the ass and it is still smarting to this day.

We knew something was wrong that night and have been struggling to figure it out ever since. Telling us that we knew what we were getting in tRump is a joke since most of us would not have voted for that SOB if he was the only person on the ballot. It would be funny if he was not such a maniac endangering the lives of people around the world. The people that are ALLOWING him to remain in office even though they know he is our worst nightmare will have to answer to the American people one day. And it is for damned sure, we won’t go easy on them. That is if we live through this ordeal. And yes, I am still angry over what was perpetrated upon us. Somebody needs to pay. Prison time for the whole bunch of them.

I grew up in a Queens neighborhood that became very rough when I was a teenager. I was tough, too, but that's because I had to deal with bullies who targeted Yours Truly. But, unlike Trump, I was never cruel, only fighting when I had to, so that's no excuse for his gratuitous, casual cruelty for cruelty's own sake.
