LOL. Trump had to live with a pet once, Ivana's poodle Chappy, who "had an equal dislike of Donald."

Another example of dogs being a good judge of character...

http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/21/politics/donald-trump-presidential-pet/index.html

For an image-conscious President, Trump seems to be in little rush to add a furry friend to the White House brood, making his the only first family in modern presidential history without a pet.

"There are no plans at this time" to add a pet to the first family, East Wing communications director Stephanie Grisham told CNN.

Trump lived with a poodle, Chappy, with his first wife, Ivana, who wrote in her memoir, "Raising Trump," that "Donald was not a dog fan."

"When I told him I was bringing Chappy with me to New York, he said, 'No,' " she wrote. "'It's me and Chappy or no one!' I insisted, and that was that."

Chappy, she later said, "had an equal dislike of Donald."

Seriously, I'm glad he doesn't have a pet. Trump strikes me as the sort of person who would hit or kick a pet.

He'd be mean to them.

Trump loves to be "lionized," though.

I wouldn't mind it at all if he got lionized.

Beware of Narcissists Around Your Pet

1. Narcissists will use the pet as a manipulation tactic.

2. People are seen by the narcissist as not as deserving of love, attention, and affection as animals.

3. The narcissist has unrealistic expectations of animal behavior.

4.They physically abuse pets.

5. While you are away, your pet is put down or neglected by the narcissist.

6. The narcissist "sets up" your pet for unwanted behavior.

7. The narcissist “accidentally” lets your pet out of the house.

8. The narcissist does not adhere to your rules regarding your pet.

9. They will contact you after a breakup, telling you that they are lost without the dog, or if you divided pets after a breakup, the pet they have is missing your pet terribly.

10. If your narcissist ex has "custody" of your pet, expect them to flaunt that.

11. They tease your pet.

12. Pet emergencies are created to get you to come home.

I am mostly a cat person, but I would not wish living with the Orange Sphincter on any dog.

The phrase "It shouldn't happen to a dog" comes to mind.

And yet we are still stuck with him and his regime of ignorant selfish liars.

If you want a friend, get a dog.

This is what trump does not realize, he has not cultivated real friendships. he uses people up and then disparages them when they show the least bit of disagreement. He ruins them and their reputations on a whim. he has surrounded himself with sycophants who are well aware of this, so they in turn use him to advance themselves and their own agenda. Which contributes to some of the chaos coming from the WH.
