BY JULIA MANCHESTER - 10/22/17 10:48 AM EDT
David Petraeus on Sunday pushed back on White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders's comments, saying the military "fiercely " defends the rights of Americans to express themselves.
I think were all fair game, Petraeus, the retired U.S. Army general and former CIA director, told ABC's Martha Raddatz on "This Week."
"We, in uniform, protect the rights of those to criticize us, frankly," he continued.
Sanders said last Friday that it would be "highly inappropriate" to question chief of staff John Kelly's criticism of a Florida congresswoman that has since been called into question.

(6,974 posts)Patreaus the philanderer pretty much caped for Kelly who flat out LIED on Congresswoman Wilson. Said something to the effect of I hope he's somewhere wanting to tone this whole thing down, when in reality that clown Kelly OWES Wilson an apology. Not that he'd give her one, and we KNOW tRumputin won't apologize (He's still tweeting about her and insulting her) because to him and of course she's just a black woman who deserved to be lied ON and told to "stay in her place"
I guess it's "fine" to bold-faced lie on and disrespect women, and especially a black woman like Wilson who we all know was disrespected & lied on by Kelly. I saw Nancy Pelosi on AM Joy this morning, and even SHE pretty much avoided saying much about the disrespect of Kelly towards Wilson when asked about it by Joy Ann Reid.
