Mrs. Johnson confirms to ABC News that she did not write this post. It is DEPLORABLE fake

Last edited Sun Oct 22, 2017, 03:55 PM - Edit history (3)

Mrs. Johnson will be on Good Morning America tomorrow 10/23 speaking for herself.

and this too:

Right-wing FB pages are sharing versions of the Trump troop call video with the offending portions edited out and saying the media is lying

MORE:

Conservative social media users circulated an image of a purported Facebook post from 17 October 2017 which they said showed Gold Star widow Myeshia Johnson accusing Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Florida) of exploiting a presidential condolence call over the death of her husband, U.S. Army Sgt. La David Johnson, for political gain:

While the date of the post corresponds with that of the 17 October 2017 condolence call, the time listed is actually more than an hour before the reported time of President Trump’s phone call, which was 4:45 p.m. Eastern time.

Also, the picture shows a Facebook profile bearing a square profile picture. But the social media site implemented an update in August 2017 that changed the shape of users’ profile pictures in the Facebook newsfeed from square to round,

Kelly recounted how when he got a call about his son, that among the things he was told was that his "son knew what he was getting into, but that it still hurts." Kelly apparently relayed that line to Trump and Trump fumbled the line to "he knew what he was getting into, but I guess it still hurts" when talking to Myeshia, and sounded awful. Then when it was obvious he fumbled it, instead of apologizing, he went on the attack.

It has been reported that the widow did break down and cried that he didn't even know his name. He kept saying "your guy"
Family members reported they were shocked by the tone of the call and what was said. He never called the widow by name. The parents verified the Congresswoman's account.

But let's just ignore all the lies that have been coming out of the WH about this and argue what ifs.

Now this FAKE post circulating that Mrs. Johnson confirmed she did not write. There is only one side of this story that has consistently lied about what happened and it wasn't the Johnson family.

Now this is added onto the weight of Mrs. Johnson's grief.

http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2017/10/20/gold-star-widow-phone-call-trump-alencar-jnd-full.cnn/video/playlists/trumps-comments-about-the-military/

Although the soldier killed appears to be white, unlike La David Johnson, the widow in the video is a black woman. So maybe people are confusing her with Myeshia Johnson, which is maybe why the right is pushing that video to somehow suggest that is what Trump really said to Myeshia Johnson. But he called Myeshia Johnson while she was in a car on the way to the airport to pick up her husband's body. This video appears to be at this other woman's home, accompanied by other soldiers, as you can see in the video. It also appears to show that Trump has learned a thing or two about how to make these calls since his horrible call with Ms. Johnson.

Interesting how Kelly is not complaining about the release of this video of this "sacred conversation" as he termed these calls, when he objected to Trump's call with Myeshia Johnson being divulged.

There was never any Facebook post.

Some right-winger made a graphic designed to look like a Facebook post, and then started sending it around via Twitter and other mechanisms.

They wanted to fool people into thinking that it was an actual Facebook post (which appears to have worked).

From the link you posted:

"The time listed is actually more than an hour before the reported time of President Trump's phone call, which was 4.45pm Eastern time."
In addition the profile picture shows a square image but Facebook introduced an update two months ago changing the shape of users profiles from square to round.

The creator of the image clearly used an older Facebook post as a template. They didn't update the profile picture format and they put the wrong timestamp on it.

Second (and I think Snopes did mention this), the Avatar picture is square, Facebook has round avatar images.

This indicates 2 things - A: The image is not from Facebook, and B: It likely originated outside the US.
