RIP Kid Rock's Senate Campaign

Kid Rock has officially ruled out a run for Senate in Michigan next year.

Speaking to radio shock jock Howard Stern on Tuesday, Robert Ritchie, also known by his stage name Kid Rock, sought to dispel rumors that he would jump into the 2018 race to unseat incumbent Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow.

"F--- no I'm not running for Senate, are you f---ing kidding me?" he told Stern. "Who couldn't figure that out?"

Kid Rock, a prominent Michigan Republican who visited President Donald Trump at the White House in April, fueled speculation earlier this year that he may run.

A July poll showed him in a virtual dead heat with Stabenow, a longtime Michigan senator. The same poll showed him with a substantial lead in Michigan's GOP primary.

Well at least he's honest, and he's not going to be a senator. Good. But scary that the polls were that dead heated.

Jesus Fucking Christ crucified...

Donald Trump wins Michigan (under highly suspect conditions and with massive amounts of foreign assistance) and becomes a complete disaster and national disgrace in office...yet the first chance the people of Michigan get to show that they recognize the folly of having a grade-A moron in charge of anything more taxing than wiping its own ass they poll in a dead heat for a foul-mouthed, braggadocios, non-serious rapper and a career Senator and civil servant?

This nation is broken beyond repair and the second Civil War is coming...

Not because he's any good, but because voters are fuuuuuucking stupid.

I'm telling you this from the land of the Governator and Proposition H8, so I know first hand.

I've been light-heartedly toying with that thought ever since I saw his recent anti-trump video.

I imagine he would run as an Independent.

I don't think he would do it but it was just fun to think about what would happen if he ended up in the Senate.
