Jeff Flake is a pathetic weasel, not withstanding his attempted grandstanding.

I just heard his post-speech interview on NPR, and it was just, well, pathetic.

Basically, he's too cowardly to face a possible pro-Trump primary.

He tries to say he's standing on principle, but really he's just running away from a real fight.

Then, when asked about whether Pence is enabling Trump's behavior, nothing came out but excuses.

"Oh, he's such a good man, we're such great friends. He's just in a really tough position, blah blah blah...."

Same story with Paul Ryan.

And, he's going to spend the next 14 months, enacting as much of Trump's agenda as possible.

Fuck you, Flake. You are nothing but a fake patriot.

Good riddance, now please sink into insignificance and obscurity.

but won't call for impeachment. This is how the GOP moderates roll, love America, hate Americans, while gutting any shred of consumer protection from the likes of Wells Fargo, Equifax, et al.

unless he starts consistently voting against the Trump Agenda, his supposed anti-Trump message is meaningless. "Words are Wind" as George R.R. Martin says.

He's a pathetic weasel.

I did listen to his words in the interview immediately following his speech.

If he's not in favor of removing Trump from office, what are the point of his words?

Especially when he said he will continue to support Trump's legislative agenda?

I think some requirement of action is not in the least unreasonable.

Get a clue, Francis.
