Brother of Las Vegas Shooter Arrested on Suspicion of Child Pornography

The brother of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock has been arrested on suspicion of child pornography, according to two law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the case.

Bruce Paddock was arrested early Wednesday in North Hollywood. Details about the investigation that led to the arrest were not immediately available.

According to reports, Paddock was arrested at an assisted living center. NBC4 has not independently confirmed the report. Aerial video showed investigators in a lot behind the building in the 5300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, where authorities confirmed an arrest was made Wednesday morning.

A law enforcement official told the Associated Press that the child porn case predates the mass shooting in Las Vegas. It wasn't immediately known if he has an attorney.

7. The most famous crime was the North Hollywood Shootout around 15 years ago...

The boulevard goes quite a ways into the Valley. There was a murder at the 7/11 there last year near where this latest news item occurred.
