The Silent Minority
Is it me or is the Democratic Party appear to be hiding. I am baffled as to why the Dems are not using whatever bully pulpit they have to press the point that Donald Trump is uniquely unqualified to be President. So far the only words I've heard to that effect have come from Republicans.
Is it a matter of the old saying that "when someone is digging themselves into a hole, just let them dig"? I don't know. There are a lot of people out there that are scared to death of what a Trump Administration can do (to include nuclear war) and yet are largely leaderless.
Yes, I know that the Republicans have all the cards now. But that doesn't mean we can't be participating in the Trump downfall (?)
I haven't heard from Elizabeth Warren lately...nor have we heard much from Schumer and Pelosi is largely absent. They are not completely silent....but come on. We need to be fighting harder than we are. It seems that Bernie Sanders is the only person we have been hearing from as he continues the revolution.
I mean, how do we really look for the mid-term elections. There was a time (earlier in the Trump election) that we were all convinced that the Dems would sweep the mid-terms (because Trump is so bad/dangerous).
The tides are changing...and not in our favor.
ON EDIT: On second thought, maybe I'm just frightened out of my shoes.
