From an earlier post: The big lie- tell it until its accepted as fact

I have been thinking about this for quite a while now. Nazi propagandist, Joseph Goebbels demonstrated how this worked. So what I’ve been puzzling over, why doesn’t this work with telling the truth? By that I mean we have been screaming the truth about Trump for more than 2 years and about Republicans over 2 decades now. Why have we made no progress in alerting the nation about the dangers they represent? If we had been telling lies, tHe theory suggest it would be now accepted as truth.
