Murphy Looks Headed for Landslide in New Jersey

October 25, 2017 at 1:54 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

A new Quinnipiac poll in New Jersey finds Phil Murphy (D) with a huge lead over Kim Guadagno (R) in the race for governor, 57% to 37%.

Said pollster Peter Brown: “Politics is a team game. Guadagno’s GOP teammates — President Trump, with a 33% job approval rating, and Gov. Chris Christie, with his 15% approval rating — are clearly pulling her down.”

We got to be so far up that hopefully the GOP can't rig, steal it.

Until we get control of this electoral process and REGULATE it with paper-verified standards, we have to blow these a$$holes out.

Not sure what that means, but he brought Bill Clinton, Obama, and Al Gore to NJ to stump for him

With two anchors like Trump and Christie tied to your ankles, you're going to sink to the bottom in a flash.

...and tar every republican opponent with the oozing, stinking, degenerate True Fact that their opponent is in fact a < gack > republican.

Run on the issues, of course, but make it explicit in every statement that if voters elect Mr. or Ms. XXXXX (R), they are going to get a shitload more of reeking, grifting, fear-wanking, fascist-creeping republican royalty, Inc, -- as opposed to honesty, dignity, honor, and respect that are key ideals of American democracy.

Doesn't matter if it's a comptroller position or it's the mayor of your city, city council, school board, or even senator or governor. Get out there and run! The GOP are able to do the most damage at the local level. That's how they bring it to the national level.

And the scary thing is that many of these positions that I'm talking about go unopposed in many elections - especially city councils, mayors and school boards. If we don't run, they win.
