that comes through loud and clear in his monologues. That is what Fox fears. Colbert fits better the image of a member of the elite intelligentsia, but Jimmy is just Jimmy, a likeable guy you could have a beer with, and Fox worries he'll make a dent in the demographics because he's so relatable for the common person.
