Bill O'Reilly left Fox in April under a heavy cloud. Here it is, six months later, and he's beginning to nudge his way back on the air there. Now, O'Reilly is a bigger deal than Mark Halperin, and it is Fox, not NBC. So I don't think Halperin gets back on NBC or its affiliates as soon as April of next year.

But 2018 is an election year, and Halperin's unique, deathless, gotta-have-it, indispensable insights are going to be crucial to someone during the election cycle. I figure by July he'll be back on the air somewhere with nothing more said about any past unpleasantness.

I haven't been able to stand that guy, ever since he called Obama a dick.

I purposefully avoided his afternoon show (even though I like John Heilemann) and the few mornings I would tune in to Morning Joe, I just was disgusted anytime I saw his smarmy, smug face.

I'm glad he's gone.

Hope no one will remember his name very quickly, and it will be as if he has never been known anywhere.

and his sexual harassment issues yet spent 12.5 hours on Weinstein. I wonder how long they will cover Halperin for tonight.
