In case you missed it, Fox News has been desperately trying all week to equate the Trump Campaign's colluding with Russian spies to the Clinton Campaign's purchase of the Steele dossier, part of which was compiled by Russian spies.

The line being: "What's the difference between the Trump Campaign using opposition research that came from Russia to smear Clinton, and Clinton using opposition research that also came from Russians to smear Trump? It's the same thing, right?"

Alright, you vacuous hicks...allow me to explain the difference in three simple steps.


1. Putin wanted Trump to win the election. He sent Russian spies, working for the KGB (FSB) to break into the DNC server (among other things) to get dirt on Hillary Clinton, and spread the dirt with the Trump Campaign's help. The Russian spies that helpedTrump were doing what Putin WANTED them to do.

2. Putin wanted Trump to win the election because he knew he could control him once he was in office. Putin had compromat (blackmail material) on Trump, and once in office he could blackmail, flatter, or intimidate him into doing whatever he wanted.

3. The Clinton Campaign paid British Secret Service agent Christopher Steele to bribe or otherwise convince OTHER Russian spies to tell him what blackmail material the Kremlin had on Trump so that Clinton could use it against him. The Russian spies that helped Steele were doing the OPPOSITE of what Putin wanted...AND THEY'RE ALL DEAD NOW.

Surely even YOU peckerheaded troglodytes can understand that difference.


Does it matter WHO FUNDED the Steele dossier? YES, but I'm surprised you'd want to talk about it! It was funded by both REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS, BOTH of whom thought it was imperative to stop this shit-heel from becoming President. The only difference between them was that, once Trump got the Republican nomination, the Republicans all put PARTY BEFORE COUNTRY, and fell in line behind him. I'm a little surprised you'd want to discuss that angle of the Steele dossier.

What about the FBI's subsequent use of the dossier? The (apparent) fact that the FBI might have used the Steele dossier to get the FISA warrants to tap Flynn's phones, and look into Manafort's bank accounts. Is THAT important? YES! But again, I'm really surprised you'd want to talk about it! For months you've been claiming that the Steele dossier is "a fraudulent document," that's been "totally discredited." Really? FEDERAL JUDGES do not grant FISA warrants for information contained in fraudulent, discredited documents. I'm not sure why you'd want to harp on the possibility that the Steele dossier was used as a foundation to get warrants, because that only serves to boost it's credibility. But if you want to keep talking about that, please...be my guest.
