Sobering thoughts - Trump and Descartes...

By serendipity tonight catching up on some videos I'd saved on free will - in one Sam Harris offers Free Will is an illusion - tying in with my thoughts on the Vegas shooter, etc. (what was going through his mind; was it his choice, mental illness, physical illness, etc.). Would we act like Paddock if we were somehow indeed Paddock? Terrifying thoughts. But maybe we are Shakespeare's players after all.

...and in the 2nd -- in a crash-course vid from youtube on free will vs. determinism, -- a panel drawing states Descartes posited the existence of an evil demon capable of tricking us into believing in a false reality.

Is this not the ESSENCE of the GOP (under TRUMP but also before that)?

Is TRUMP the evil demon Descartes pondered? (Fake news, anyone?)

Go Mueller!
