DC Attorneys Are Earning Weekend Rates
The announcement of a sealed indictment by the Mueller investigation late on Friday has caused a number of likely suspects to make frantic phone calls to their high-priced attorneys.
And those attorneys are happy to help out, I'm sure. But, it's the weekend, see. So, those huge hourly rates double. "But, you know, you'll want to be properly prepared if you end up in the barrel on Monday morning," the attorneys are telling their flop-sweating clients. So meetings are being scheduled for today and tomorrow, to plan on what to do when they come for you.
Yes, indeed. Money is being earned this weekend.
