Saw a youtube clip, where they suggested the say no drugs campaign was a success????

(12,356 posts)The story lines are fine, typical network stuff. Its light, and okay watch.
But there is always a handful of episodes per season, its like someone from Faux News is directing.
Digs at michael moore and the aclu and stuff.
But the drug thing was werid (what I saw on youtube) talking about how the "This is your brain on drugs" was
a huge success, thanks to Nancy Reagan.
The rest of the time, the show is an okay watch.

(12,356 posts)Around 6 -7 episodes per season make some sort of political point for the repugs.
But the rest of the time, its a good cop show.

For ranchers that is a big time no no, and a sign of no honor

They had a bit, where they discuss topics, one said
"The Just Say No to drugs campaign is genius, because if a cop comes up
to you and asks you if you have any drugs on you, Just Say No"

(3,433 posts)I rolled my eyes last night at the end and there have been other instances as well but I don't particularly care. I don't need television to validate my political beliefs. I don't always agree with what I see on the shows I watch but that is fine with me. I have enough politics everywhere else. I personally find it healthy to be presented with differing opinions both in everyday life and in "entertainment."
