Suppose some allied foreign intelligence service had one of the June 2016 meeting people

under surveillance.

And, after Mueller was appointed, offered him a copy of the audio. Mueller would have gone to a FISA court for permission to review it.

And then he would have had an actual audio to compare to witness statements.

Well, I can dream, can't I?
