Why aren't the public figures trying to head the Trump investigation in another direction

not guilty of obstruction of justice?

Serious question that I may have asked before.

Does it have to be directed at the actual law enforcement to be obstruction?

What about Sean Hannity giving out bullshit information in an attempt to divert millions of people away from the truth that Meuller is actually investigating members of the Trump campaign and cabinet? (What about fucking Devin Nunes and the tricks he has played?)

And Sarah Sanders - She has to know she is lying and trying to divert reporters and the public away from the truth.

What if a family member of mine murdered someone and I started a rumor that the murder was done by someone else and provided fake information about it, in an attempt to change the direction of the investigation?

Is that obstruction or not? I'm asking seriously because everytime I see one of them do something like this I shake my head and wonder how they are allowed to get away with it.

1. i don't think public whining actually "obstructs" an investigation, in and of itself.

building public support for something like firing a special prosecutor is legally meaningless.
actually firing a special prosecutor, that's something else entirely.

on the other hand, there's certainly an expected protocol in washington, and talking about an ongoing investigation, particularly criticizing prosecutors, is usually a big no-no. not illegal, just a breach or propriety.

put another way, if hillary were being investigated and she said half the crap republicans are saying, they'd be impeaching her. well, they'd be impeaching her anyway just for being a democrat, and especially a woman, but that's another story....

seriously, imagine hillary as president, saying a special prosecutor investigating her should be fired.
there's no way the right-wing and the media wouldn't go ballistic.

5. I do not think Hannity is guilty of obstruction and probably not Sanders, either. Nunes might be.

Nunes actually had access to the people, information and evidence central to the investigation. His actions, be they publicly known or not, may be of interest to Mueller.

7. With all of the rest

of the issues and people involved with them, ONE thing I'm SO hoping for is that this all comes crashing down BIG TIME on IQ45 and his band of thieves.

And with that happening, SEAN F**KING HANNITY is exposed as the crazy piece of bloviating pond scum that he truly is.
