3. As I posted elsewhere, that plea is aimed at the GOP Congress and Jeff Sessions.

He wants Congress to go after Mueller's funding, and/or he wants Sessions to un-recuse himself and fire Mueller. Trump wants them to be blamed for any obstruction of justice.

I've been seeing a lot of articles and tweets about both those options this past week.
