"I hate manure!"
As Holden Caulfield in "The Catcher in the Rye" opined, movies have really ruined us.
I mean, here you have a simple story being spun out on the screen, usually involving some kind of conflict, usually with some sort of antagonist who exhibits a degree of nastiness and perhaps even outright evil.
You sit through the antagonist's despicable behavior, knowing in the end he or she will get what they so richly deserve.
You see it in Popeye cartoons, where Bluto/Brutus behaves like a complete cad until Popeye blows his top, eats his spinach and proceeds to pound the ever-loving bejesus out of his enemy.
You saw it in the film "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy whereby a couple of manipulative old bastards ruined people's lives for fun then got screwed in the end and went broke (hope I don't need to issue a spoiler alert for a 37 year old movie!)
Best of all, you see it in "The Back to the Future" films where cartoonish villain Biff Tannen insults, bullies and even attempts to rape someone for Christ's sake... and always gets a load of manure dumped on him (or his ancestor does). Couldn't come up with a more perfect form of punishment... except jail.
For 9+ months I've despaired over the fact we have a disgusting, dishonest bullying scumbag sitting in the White House plus millions of his filthy, mean-spirited, ignorant downright nasty followers - people so nasty they take pride in being nasty - and no sign of any justice. No truckload of manure in sight to dump on Donny Two-Scoops (who actually inspired Biff's character in the 2nd Back fo the Future film; a rich, corrupt, moronic millionaire who got rich through no talents of his own).
Here's hoping tomorrow is the first of many such truckloads of shit that will be dumped on Trump's filthy band of crooks and criminals.
Based on the inordinate amount - even for him - of screaming and crying the orange shitgibbon is engaging in upon Twitter, he knows one of those manure trucks has his name on it.
