It's so difficult to find evidence against Trump. For example;

Hey Russia, steal clintons e-mails and help me win the election.

I fired Comey because he was investigating me. What a relief.

Sally Yates warned me Flynn was subject to blackmail by Russia so I fired her.

Russia did not attack our elections. Fake news.

The June 2016 meeting with russians was about adoption. Believe me.

What a freak show this has been. He convicted himself.

5. Worse, he won't take the advice of the United States Intelligence Community

What higher authority could he possibly appeal to in order to back up his claim that "Russia did not attack our elections."

And/or that of knowledge of complete dissolvency and blackmail. And/or worrying about death-by-polonium.

Of course most right-wing crooks end up crying and appealing to their new-found friend, Jesus.

I don't think Donnie actually fears Putin. Sure, I think it's very likely that Russia has "kompromat" on him (Donnie's an easy mark for that) and would use it if they had to, but I think they found it very easy to play to Donnie's ego instead. I think Donnie thinks Russia can make him rich and why would Donnie spoil that.

In other words, I think Donnie was and is eager to betray his country not out of fear but out of greed, ego, and arrogance.

11. I think it's purely results-mongering.

He won the election, therefore he has a big stake in claiming that it's legitimate, or at least, if there was anything wrong, it was hillary.

The authority is the only authority he cares about -- his own personal necessity for whatever narrative works best for his ego.

12. My point is that Trump has no PLAUSIBLE basis to deny what the Intelligence Community tells him.

Trump's motive is obvious, but his claim makes no sense and only the most mindless of his followers could fail to see that.

They can't believe anyone would admit to a felony on twitter. But stranger things have happened. Like the criminal who thought he was invisible because he rubbed his face with lemon juice.

7. Trump's lies aren't evidence of crimes

Yes I agree = he tells nothing but lies. And everything you list is a Trump lie, that's basically how he got elected.

Mueller's job is to find evidence of crimes, and as such, the constant lying is not evidence to convict. (For one thing Cheeto's not under oath.) Mueller has been following the money and interviewing people involved with the wrong-doing. Checking out alibis, meeting agendas, and travel schedules. It's a lot of follow-up and hard work. If you've ever watched a police procedural Law & Order type show, you know what I mean.

We hear him lying and we think My God this guy is so guilty! But that won't cut it in court. Robert Mueller knows what he's doing.
