Negative emotions of any kind do it.

It's like rust on a car.. very slow acting (well, not always), but it eats away every second until, one day, there is nothing left.

I'm 59 and his under-eye bags are bigger than mine.

What is wrong with his voice? He sounds like he gargles with a mixture of Drano and rough edged pebbles.

He basically screams for several hours per day. It's hard on the vocal chords. Harvey Fierstein once had a normal voice, but he was in a play where he had to scream for 2 hours every night.
