November 1, 2017 to December 15, 2017- IS OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR healthcare.gov insurance plans.

https://www.healthcare.gov/

Preview 2018 plans & prices now!
Check out plans now. Enroll or renew from November 1 to December 15

Two weeks less enrollment time then last year, but the website seems fine. Shop around and see what plans cost in your state. I'm in Texas, I'll probably go with a Blue Cross 'silver plan' again, its about the same price as last year for me. You can also place in any zip-code you want to see plans in other states & counties if you care to see what's offered.

I plan on November 1st or first week to get my plan for 2018- not sure what Republicans have done to make insurance more difficult for people. We shall see.

Usually it is a long wait but this year will be even worse with all the changes and questions. I have heard that the Silver Plans (mine) is increasing the most. Some states are so out of wack now that the Gold Plan is about the same deal since the deductible and co-pays are less and the price without subsidies would make them just about even.

with subsidies vs. APTC (Advanced Premium Tax Credit). It normally is a pain, now I anticipate lots of tears too.
