(82,849 posts)If you get caught, you're a loser in Trump's universe. He'll cut you off dead when the indictment comes down without a second thought. If it's his own tit caught in the wringer, though, he'll whine about the unfairness of it all, negotiate the least possible settlement amount, and keep careful tabs on who stood with him in his time of need and who didn't.
Manafort, Gates and Papadopoulos all become un-persons for the time being. If Trump requires their services some time in the future, he'll be a bit more discreet about it, but none of them should look to Trump for any kind of succor right now.
