White House has no intentions of firing Mueller?

http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/30/politics/russia-investigation-manafort-latest/?lf-content=222696360:lb-post-ad9108caf7e52b706d6cb42f4609e5f4@livefyre.com&hubRefSrc=permalink

Wait, they do not have the power to fire him I thought, right? They'd have to replace someone who would have this power.

They're acting like they can fire him to try to make it seem like they are OK with his investigation. It's like me saying, "well, I have no intentions of firing the police detective looking into my fraud." I don't have the power to.

They're throwing up a false narrative to try to make it seem like they are above the law.

Although in the ethical shitshow that is this administration, I suppose Sessions could unrecuse himself and then fire Mueller to get back in Trump's good graces.

I mean, none of these guys have any sort of moral compass, so why the hell not?

Or convince AG Sessions to fire deputy AG and replace him with someone who will.

Probably what their lunch today is about.
