.... so any collusion is fine. Just fine. Nothing to see here, folks.
Can we pause to take a moment to reflect on the pure unbridled depths of what we call TREASON??!
Aiding and abetting a foreign government to influence or rig an election is just fine if it keeps a bona fide American out of office and installs a bought-and-paid for Russian shill with vast financial ties to Russia.
What would have happened had Benedict Arnold, upon being caught helping the British, glibly stated: "Oh, that's just fine; I simply considered the British more trustworthy than the Americans!"
Do you think he would have retained his command?
There is no depth. There is no depth too low for these people to sink to. And I want you to be aware of that. When troubled times come for them, they will lash out; they will libel, slander, bully, lie, fume, distort and - I firmly believe - murder if that's what it comes down to.
These people are not our countrymen nor fellow citizens. They are the enemy. Period. And they have to be shouted down, jailed, blocked, outmaneuvered and have their shit-ridden diaper of an ideology complete exposed so the kids we have growing up can see them for what they are.
Trust me. I've got an older son voting in 2020 and he ain't no right-wing fool.

(5,611 posts)Since they are traitors to their own country. Plus wtf does Hillary have to do with this? Trump and his boys did this all by themselves.

(3,010 posts)a Fox news viewer who is simply too brainwashed to reach. I talk to her daily showing her actual evidence of the lies, and I can't reach her. If I could just persuade her to look outside her Fox world, I would have hope for the country. She won't.
I guess she is safe in her Fox world. I'm filled with despair.

(23,924 posts)our reptile brains want us safe and comfortable. your live-in Trumpist has formed her comfort zone using Fox News "facts".
evidence to the contrary does not register in these circumstances. if someone strongly believes the animal in front of them is a saber-tooth tiger presenting evidence that it's really a housecat is unlikely to change their behavior.
it will be very difficult to change the minds of True Believers who have integrated Fox News with their reptilian cortex configurations.

At least we're finding out how small their "majority" really is. As more and more casual Trump supporters slough off, the poll numbers are approaching reality. I would not be surprised to see him down in the 20's by New Years.

(17,984 posts)But I am all for disallowing his supporters to ever vote again. They embrace treason; they believe all sorts of lies he and Faux spews; they are willing to do anything at all to win. That is NOT democracy, and they should not be allowed to participate in one.

should have the same vote as the grunting useless talk-radio listening pieces of nothing who support the GOP and their rapist-in-chief no matter what.

(2,857 posts)She only watches Fox and says all others are fake news.
She walks up on me telling someone with out a fb what happened and she thought Manafort was with Clinton. I corrected her and she said that just last week they said Clinton was the bad one selling all our uranium out from under us.. I told her that was fake news. "But, but.." No, fake news because they knew last week the indictment was coming. She continues to foam at the mouth about how Hillary was so bad and I told her Fox was covering a hamburger emoji instead of important stuff then walked off.
Heads exploding indeed...
