The nominations to the Supreme Court are SO important, not to lessen the power of the others (look at what they've been able to do regarding IQ45's immigrant rules).
This was a major failing of the Democratic campaign - expressing how important that office is.
We NEED to vote - 2018 - RESIST!!!!!

(16,926 posts)I guess it really came down to the fact that "the electorate" - well, no, it was those that chose NOT to vote - didn't see the significance of the position.
GAWD, who couldn't see what an A** he was (well, 63 million, I guess) but didn't have the foresight to understand how it would impact their lives (again, I show my own assness - so many ALWAYS vote against their own best interest!!!!!)

Orin Hatch denies that the rumor he is retiring is true. Maybe he did tell his friend that and then changed his mind after Friday's news dump since he seems to be the next in line not involved in the collusion. Anyway, he is all about supporting Mueller, lol.
