It's a stunning response to Kelly, and uses a lot of quoted material (in images easy to read on Twitter) making it very clear that the Civil War was only about slavery, that Robert E. Lee was not admirable (he tortured his own slaves and had his army, when it invaded Pennsylvania, kill black soldiers and capture free blacks to take back as slaves), and that the "compromising" with the slave owners of the South had already gone on far too long by the time of the Civil War.

Kelly is full out nuts. Rabid white supremacist. Living the unimaginable nightmare of all out racists and religious fanatics running our government.

(4,381 posts)Wow. I really hate people who try to bullshit about the civil war or the reality of slavery. Just read any book on the laws that were written to support slavery in the south/slave states. What a POS.
