Mighty Funny How There's A Terrorist Attack The DAY AFTER Indictments Are Announced....

Where's the tin foil hat?

I'm serious though, the biggest news story of the year has just been swallowed by a terrorist attack. The only thing that ISN'T unusual is that one happened. Sadly they happen so often, there's bound to be another one sooner or later. But the DAY AFTER though? Or is the MSM just focusing on this to take people's attention off of the Trump WH to give Trump some breathing room?

But I was too much of a scaredy-cat to post this!

YOU ARE BRAVE!

Uzbekistan, the country from which the mad driver is from, is in the sphere of influence of Putin and Russia. Who's to say that our mad driver doesn't still have family members/grandparents in Uzbekistan? Who's to say that Putin didn't send this guy a message that said: "Do this, this and this or I'll off your Granny?"

It's really bad when so many people are hurt, but the distraction from the important legal news sure is convenient.

It's just a coincidence. Right???

Also, Uzbekistan is not on the travel ban list, despite the fact that they are 88% Muslim. I just find it interesting how certain Muslim countries are on the list and other are not. Uzbekistan has massive amounts of natural resources and is has the fourth largest gold deposits in the world.

Trump has been actively courting them, despite their dismal human rights record.

20. All this nonsense about X diverting from Y... There is only one meaningful diversion:
Tue Oct 31, 2017, 09:10 PM
Oct 2017

The only real diversion is tRump & Republicon statements and nonsense to capture attention while they appoint judges, confirm government drowners, pay off the 1%, fail to act on time on sanctions for Russia, sabotage ObamaCare/ACA, pushing charter schools, and much more.

Pence the paid protester at the Colts game he went only to leave.
Kelly speaking on the Civil War.
Trump tweeting.
Scaramucci running his mouth.
So much more crap.

While all of that was happening Trump ripping up as much of Obama's actions as he could and the Republicons were fattening the 1%.

There is nothing to be gained by momentarily diverting public attention away from indictments or other such stuff.
It does not stop Mueller and his team from discovering the truth and nailing down details.

Claiming that a terrorist act like this is executed or let happen on purpose for "diverting attention" is actually destructive to the national discourse and divisive.

Stop it.

I see the mirror image of that tin foil all the time on RW sites (in greater abundance). It does not belong here even if it attempts to tar Trump.

43. I think you're wrong

We've gone from talking about the indictments and who else might be indicted...to talking about Muslim terrorism and Trump using it to attack Shumer and push anti-Islamic xenophobia about immigration. There's no telling how long this story might develop. I never said it'll stop Mueller. But it does give the Trump WH time to develop a counter-narrative and time for Republicans to get a counter-strategy worked. I've read too many books like 'The Shock Doctrine' and 'Confessions of an Economic Hitman' to think these incidents are random anymore. Did you not see the JFK files released recently exposing how the CIA plotted to do domestic terrorism and blame it on Castro? I'm just saying. I feel for those who lost their lives, but the timing of all this is extremely suspect.

If you get offended by someone's speculative opinion, and I admit I'm speculating, then you might need to cool down bud lol.

No counter-narrative will get enough armed tiki torches in the streets to make for a coup for the tRump fascists to retain power.

Events have gone far beyond that.

It is your speculation that is running wild and needs cooling down.

You have nothing except speculation, which equals nothing. Just because some huge conspiracy (bigger than tRump-Russia with many more US people involved) could conceivably happen does not mean that you get a free pass to throw out crap into General Discussion. and if they used a gun, we can't talk about gun control either.

As far as indictments, I doubt Mueller's investigation would be affected by this attack. He's already collared some people and got a guilty plea. This is just the beginning, whether it makes headlines or not.

It’s as if fate wants the news to drop reporting the mueller investigation and concentrate on this terrorist attack instead. The elections in NJ and Virginia are prime to be influenced by the evil Muslim terrorist and only republicans can fixit. But it happened on the Republican President watch. But don’t worry fox and the Reich wing media will stir it up.
