If it continues I'll take my talents elsewhere.

(99,710 posts)When someone used to make a sarcastic response at my expense I would dig in my heels and respond in kind until my attacker submitted or grew tired. This would sometimes result in sub threads so long that Skinner would literally have to manually delete them but alas a new DSB is born like Saul who became Paul on the road to Damascus and I will let you have the last word.

(53,031 posts)To distract from Trump and keep anger focused on Democrats. We see it regularly. The worse it gets for Trump, the more blaming of Dems we see.

(99,710 posts)The bottom line is the fighting among ourselves is enervating. It's also a distraction when Trump is taking a hammer to civility, to the Constitution, and democratic norms.

(53,031 posts)Nor is repeating Russian propaganda to promote his re-election, but then I understand that my concern for the well being of the nation isnt shared by everyone.
1) I dont know if Brazille really made those comments. I wouldnt be surprised if they have been taken so out of context as to distort their meaning.
2)From what I can tell, the most egregious action in the primary was by Brazille herself, when she sent Clinton debate questions. That she then points to hacked and doctored emails seems strange.
3) I despise the ongoing effort to discount the votes of the majority of Democrats, 4 million more than voted for the candidate who lost.
4) as Eichenwald has demonstrated, the emails were doctored, dates changed so as to maximize anger and defection from the party.
But never fret. It is being discussed and used to refight the 2016 primary, divide the party and keep Trump in office. If Brazille made those comments, I find it sad that she would invoke Kremlin propaganda to cater to to a faction who tried to remove her and other AA women from the DNC.
And of course those who deny that Russia had any impact of the electiondespite overwhelming evidenceare anxious to insist Russian hacked and altered emails provide proof that Clinton stole the primary.
Also THE FUCKING PRIMARY is over because Clinton got 4 million more voters to the polls, and the DNC with its 2016 fundraising of $75 mil did not cost a candidate who raised and spent more than any candidate in history, $220 million, the election. The fact is the Dem electorate is predominately women and people of color, and candidates who cant appeal to the majority of those voters cant win, no matter how much other voters may believe themselves entitled to pick the nominee against the consent of the majority. But then of course that is why Nomiki Konst is leading an effort to replace primaries with caucuses and thereby disenfranchise the poor, shift workers, people of color, the elderly, disabled, and women with child care responsibilities. If the inferior people dont vote as told, ensure they cant vote, Kobash style. Keep the electorate limited to white property holders; pretend they constitute the working class, while ensuring that the majority of low to median wage workers cant participate.
But by all means, keep it up. Trump needs the distraction.
