Hmmm. Donna Brazile is pissed off about something!

She didn't just trash DWS, the Clinton Campaign, and Obama, she even used Trump's favorite word "rigged" to describe the nomination process. And right-wingers are doing cartwheels about it, as she surely knew they would.

Thing is, she was Vice-Chair of the DNC during the time of the supposed "rigging", which means that either:
(A) she was aware the entire time of the "rigging" and did or said nothing about it, or
(B) the supposed "rigging" was so subtle that even though she was Vice Chair and intimately involved, she didn't notice.

It sure looks like she's trying to sell (B). Consider that, for instance, in March she wrote that "the more competitive and heated the primary got, the harder D.N.C. staff worked to be scrupulously fair and beyond reproach." So, what, then? If the DNC staff was acting fairly and beyond reproach, and DNC Vice Chairs weren't aware of any "rigging", and there weren't any actual actions taken to favor one candidate over another, what is she talking about? If a tree falls in the woods...

So what is she trying to do? Is she just trying to sell books? Is she trying to pull a Dick Morris and become a FOX Contributor? Is she trying to ingratiate herself with the far left by attacking the party?

...sometimes clear the air and one's conscious works wonders for one's psyche. And sometimes, as we get older, holding on to mindsets and beliefs that previously required high maintenance, are just easier to let go.

I somewhat like Brazille and would never compare her to the reptillian toe-sucker Morris, and god forbid Brazille would entertain becoming part of the Dark Side unless of course, old Murdick is soon to be displaced by his sons and Fux takes a turn towards the light. It could happen.

2. Donna was accused of "rigging the primary" over the Flint debate question

I like Donna Brazile. I expect she needs to rebrand herself to continue getting work as a political consultant.

If we look at the facts she's presented and away Donna's negative spin, it looks like a good thing that HRC bailed out the DNC and curtailed DWS's reckless spending. Mr Scorpio has a thread going now where he goes through the facts.

Someone in that thread has already found a misrepresentation or mistake Brazile made.

I know that is a cynical view but political consulting is a tough business. Especially if you were aligned w a losing GE candidate.
