Saudi Bombing Kills 29 Civilians in Yemen as Vote Looms to Stop US-Backed Carnage

From the article:

"It's long past time for the United States to stop supporting a war that independent human rights organizations believe may involve war crimes on all sides."

The latest such attack on civilians follows ongoing criticism directed at Saudi Arabia for potential war crimes committed since the bombing campaign on the impoverished nation began in 2015—a conflict in which the U.S. is complicit through its arms sales, as well as logistical and intelligence support to the kingdom.

State terror, especially state terror committed with US backing, is an acceptable form of terror, as opposed to terror committed by individual actors.

If the US opposed the slaughter the Saudis would be less inclined to feel they can act with no fear.

So long as the Saudis pay $200bn for weapons, they will get unconditional support for any inane policy they think up.

It's up to the Arab world to define their own destiny, just like it isn't Russia's fault for our own broken political system. They exploit it, but this is a problem of our own making going back decades. In the Arab world, it goes back over 1000 years.
