But you can't find dark websites by using Google. You just have to know the URL already. Sites aren't hosted by well known servers like GoDaddy, but by personally run computers.

Also, you have to use the Tor browser. From the site:

The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked.

use something similar to what we used to call mIRC back in the mid 1990s.

than the net most people know about. It's a lot of illegal and very explicit material that could never be shown on usual search engines. Drug traffic, human trafficking... The NSA and law enforcement have a big presence on it. There are a lot of traps to infect unsuspecting passers by as well.
I decided to check around down there once. It's not worth it. Pretty ugly. If you do take a look, do not go unless you're well protected. TOR is a necessity.

Edit: There really is no "there", that's a false image. It's anywhere that's not normally accessible or monitored where links stay within their anonymous parameters.
