Jig's up. Manafort's a flight risk with 3 passports. Don jr solicited interference in our election from a foreign adversary, as did his father the prez in front of the whole world. Kushner appears to have been involved in the decision to fire comey and the cover up as to motive.

3. "They're" not going down soon because "they" are other people

altogether. Too big to operate on the front lines, they give orders from their estates.

This has been a long time building to the point that we are starting to realize how deeply and widely right-wing corruption and subversion of our systems has infiltrated. It is a direct result of the development of classes so ultrawealthy that they can purchase senators with their chump change and electorate opinion with not much more. It'll take time to undo, but our grandparents did it already, earning being called "the greatest generation," and we can too.

Btw, of course, we're not "already the fascist state we fear." Your anxiety is shared, believe me, but getting carried away with it is not exactly a good idea. 2018 is coming up fast, and we need to convince everyone to use the huge little power we all have as citizen of a free nation to make sure that can never happen.

4. 2017 is coming up next week!

Democrats are active at all levels. State, local, municipal, even schoolboard elections matter a great deal and can turn the tide for progressive change. We can send a signal. It's not all about Alabama Senate. It's about turning the tide BLUE! We all need to grab an extra 2 people to vote. Off year elections are close, even where they're not supposed to be. We need to capture that extra 6% of seats, to show the Thugs that their days are numbered.

I'm not doing anything now, but my husband and I plan to help with voter registration in Florida after the new year.

And returning Democrats to power to enable progressive change is what we will be working for.

7. Supposedly respectable media and journalists are revealing themselves

as they drop their masks to fight to protect this administration, sounding like Infowars and Fox at its worst.

Scary, all right. But at least media like Vox are starting to talk about it. Plotters intending to usurp our authority, divert our national wealth into their pockets, and move our whole government structure to the right operated for over 30 years without scrutiny or exposure. This's at least a big change, if frighteningly late.

They have a lot to lose. Trump may not be necessary to them, but Pence is and a bunch of the crooks they used Trump to get into high office are. And of course their majorities in congress and state legislatures.
