Trump will be indicted for Obstruction of Justice and unless articles of impeachment are written in the House, nothing will happen to him. Trump can collude, lie, cheat and steal but unless the GOP does something, nothing will be done. He will go on tweeting and repeating everything that is said about Hillary, Obama, other Democrats and in the end, he will still be in office.

Either that destroys them in the mid-term, or they get sick of him before that.

Congress is swamping federal courts with right-wing, political ideologies while Trump dismantling the State Department, the EPA, the US Dept of Education, HUD . . . What part of their agenda is suffering?

Trump may be crazier and dumber than repugs expected, but with his help they will continue to loot America for as long as they remain entrenched in red states.

The Deplorables desperately want to lose their health care and pay more taxes, and Turd is completely screwing up their strategy on those things.

I am encouraged by what has gone on over the last several months. The Republicans can ram through whatever legislation they want, but a lot of their more evil bills have been stopped simply because the reps who need to vote on them have been overwhelmed by the public outcry. So that tells me that at least a few of them will still bend to public pressure. If there is proof that Trump broke the law, I think there will be a similar public outcry demanding his ouster, and the same reps who feared losing their jobs over the terrible healthcare bills, etc., will also fear going down with the Trumptanic.

Honestly, the Trump name is so toxic right now, the only way Republicans up for re-election in 2018 are going to have a chance is by running on the "I distanced myself from him" platform. And I don't even think that will be enough. The more dirt that comes out about this administration, the harder it's going to be for any Republican to win re-election in 2018. I remember the massive anti-Bush sentiment in 2008 that swept Democrats into office in places where they had rarely won before. This feels kinda the same.

most of what Mueller is looking at (so far as we know) took place before Trump was President. Can he still be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors" if they took place before he was in office? I'm sure (after denying, of course) he and his minions will argue exactly that.

The most important thing is to prevent future corruption of our elections. Whether Trump stays or leaves is less important.
