Sorry. Drives me nuts when people chew gum or talk around a toothpick when they are on camera.

. . . back to things of real significance.

The guy who did the initial chase wasn't in the church. He heard the shots and came over to find a single person with a gun. In that case it's easy to determine who the shooter was. But what happens if there are 5 people with guns? Who does he chase?

Just because in this particular instance it worked out, doesn't mean the solution is more people with guns.

or the shooter to run out of ammo, are better options in most cases.

"doing about 95" and "going around cars" on a two lane road.
Did he have his flashers on and a siren? Most armed criminals
don't just give up. Think of the safety of others on the road if
not your own. Even trained police have chases that end in
tragedy for innocent victims.

in Austin when Charles Whitman was shooting people. People who had their personal rifles in their autos got them out and helped out. I remember that event well.

I feel that the other guy shot the shooter but that's the way its done in Texas.

You worry about them driving 95, hell the speed limit is 75 and as I guess you figured out most all people think that's a suggestion and go over the 80 mark to 87.5. The way I see it 95 isn't much faster.
