Kellyanne Conway Blames the Left for Politicizing Tragedy of Texas Church Massacre

This is an opinion piece; that portion of the article underlined, below, is crossed out in the article. I wasn't able to replicate that cross-out -- Don

-snip-

In an interview with White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway, Fox & Friends opened by citing a Tweet from the highly regarded progressive thought leader Los Angeles based television personality Chelsea Handler who wrote, “Innocent people go to church on Sunday to honor their God, and while doing so, get shot in killed. What country? America. Why? Republicans.”

Ms. Conway replied to that Tweet in the exact manner that would please Fox & Friends viewers:

I won’t even dignify it I’m sorry that we even have to show her Twitter comments because it’s so beyond any type of reasonable response that anyone should have. Why people see politics immediately. It’s just like I said in Las Vegas over a month ago. You had families literally still looking for their loved ones through the rubble in remains in Las Vegas, running from hospital to hospital.

There were people who were were injured who then went on to pass away . And yet people are taking to Twitter in the comfort of their very luxurious lives pointing fingers. As far as can I tell, never really help in between the tweet storms. Never really help charities. Never help people to heal. Never try to reach across for understanding.

They said, "How many times do people need to be killed before our useless Congress outlaws guns whose only purpose is to kill people"? You see, I live in an area where everyone owns hunting guns. It is rural. Police protection is sketchy at best. Yet people here do not agree with the type of guns that have been used to kill people sitting in church or watching someone sing. Most people have one rifle for deer and one shotgun for small game. They don't agree with owning assault weapons. And their politics don't play a part in it.

But just say whatever you want. I am not really sure who is listening to this Kelly Ann Conway person anymore (outside of Fox viewers).

If Republicans don't want to lead, then they should resign. If they stay and refuse to lead, then they're not only part of the problem, they are the problem. That's not politics, that's life.
