. . . . . and always had the good fortune to fly first or business as that is our company policy for such long trips. I flew on both JAL and ANA. On all the trips, they offer a choice of American or Japanese menus for all the meals on the flight. The Japanese almost all selected the American menu and the Americans almost all selected the Japanese menus.

As if it were a surprise to anyone, Trump is an outlier.
