So, I don't know VA politics very well. Who will win tomorrow: Northam or Gilesspe? (Original Post) Chasstev365 Nov 2017 OP
Northam, but it will be close. Turnout is important. FSogol Nov 2017 #1
Northam by 4 or 5 points. quartz007 Nov 2017 #2

left a good legacy by blocking all the repug vote suppression tactics and other dirty tricks.

Also Hillary won in Virginia.

Kaine led by 3% in the averages in 2005.
He won by 5.8%.

Obama lead by 0.4% in 2012, he won the state by 4%.

If Democrats turnout, we will walk this.

If not, it will be very close, close enough to be stolen by David Gillespie Duke.

Warner led by 9 points in the average of polls and barely (I mean barely) won that seat. Polling average had Hillary winning it by 5.3 and she won it by 5.4. So, pretty damn close.

Virginia is a bit of a strange state, it is almost like 2 states. Northern Virginia will go for Northam, the rest of VA will go for Gillespie imho. If there is a high voter turnout in Northern VA, I think Northam will win. If voter turnout is low, it will probably be Gillespie.

It has been a nasty campaign. I don't even live in Virginia, I live in Maryland, but we get Northern Virginia's commercials on the TV
