New right-wing meme: Liberals/Antifa/Democrats are actively killing Conservatives.

I have seen this in a few places now: Rush Limbaugh, the comment-section of Mediamatters, the comment-section of RT, and as a response to Paul Ryan's latest "thoughts&prayers"-tweet.

And I'm just going to tell you, terrorists do not always just come from Uzbekistan. They don't just come from Afghanistan. They don't just come from Al Qaeda. Sometimes, terrorists come straight from the Democrat party, straight from the American left.

* Or that the Church-shooter of Texas was trying to kick off a left-vs-right civil-war. (He really ran amok over a domestic dispute with his in-laws.)

* Or that the Las Vegas-shooter was a liberal targeting conservatives. (He had no known political affiliation and likely ran amok because of his massive debts.)

* Or that the Scalise-shooter was a liberal trying to wipe out republican politicians. (He was a former Bernie-follower turned Trump-follower.)

* Or that the guy who ran over a liberal protester in Charlottesville really was a plant to make those race-war screaming Neonazis look bad.

* Or Pruitt, the head of EPA, who has tripled his number of bodyguards because he's afraid of EPA-employees and "the Left". And the right-wingers cite his paranoia as proof that he's in danger.

* Or the conspiracy-theory that the Left wants to take away people's guns so they are easier to shoot. (Not kidding. There are people who believe this.)








Please explain to me again how the Democratic Party can win over Trump-voters by being nice to them and citing facts.

They are passing around photoshops with the shooters face and 'antifa' pictures. Glenn Beck has a picture of 'antifa' guys above the story of Rand Paul's neighbor dispute. Their pages are full of posts clamoring for revenge against the 'left'
