(182,717 posts)Normal at 6:45 to have no one else there.
Remember (as stated on another thread) NoVa is notorious for being late turning in their numbers as is Richmond. Gillespie may look to have a lead early in.
Also - Chesterfield is crucial to absorbing some of Richmond and Henrico. The Repubs need a big turnout there and hope some recent Dem gains don't increase.

(1,633 posts)Warrenton is Virginia's 5th Congressional District represented by Tom Garrett Jr. (R). The voters in this district do love their Republicans but this town is becoming more diverse and hopefully by 2020, it'll be a swing city;
2016 General Election Results, Precinct 203 - WARRENTON (05)
Hillary Clinton 43.34%
Donald J. Trump 50.05%
Can't wait to see who will be Congressman Garrett's challenger on the Democrat side for 2018. This GOP right-wing nut job is known to have been socializing with white supremacists;

(11,589 posts)Tonite I am paying VERY close attention to not just the big votes (Gov, Lt. Gov and AG) -- but to the delegates.
I'd love to get the statehouse back.

Not real busy, turnout was 43.4% at 2:30.
McAuliffe won by 2.1 points in 2013 with a 57% turnout.
Hillary won by 0.7% in 2016 with a 77% turnout.
Fingers crossed here too.
